This is a broad concept and often, the result of many smaller ideas. EMD studies this concept and defines the nine EMD's.Employees are trained and empowered to develop their own strategies and plans. The fact that an employee can pursue this path with the support of their peers is one of the most powerful advantages of EMD.Employees are rewarded for the actions and efforts they put into their work. EMD emphasizes the benefits of recognizing an employee's contributions to achieving their goals. This is one of the ways that an employee can reach their own pe rsonal goals.Employees are educated about the environment in which they are working. You can define it as the motivational environment that they will find in their place of work. It includes issues such as how they are valued, the structure of the workplace, employee relationships, and the expectations of the job.Employees are supported to become more self-motivated and effective in their work. There are multiple techniques that help in the process of training employees to become more self-motivated.Employees must be helped to identify their talents. They should be given tools to do so. The result is that employees become better at motivating themselves and become more engaged in their work. Achieving greater employee performance is a critical component of the process of employee development. But, without this, many of the employee development programs will not be effective. Employee development is a process and the process has multiple phases.
